Tresóna Multimedia, LLC ("Company" or "We" or "Us") is primarily (but not solely) engaged in the licensing of music copyright licenses to licensees and users of our website for and on behalf of music copyright owners Tresóna represents or is otherwise authorized to issue music copyright licensed for. Further, Tresóna undertakes music copyright compliance work, including without limitation copyright enforcement. As discussed in this Policy, Tresóna obtains and shares personal data necessary to effectuate its business purposes. Tresóna respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. We also wish to note, outright, that Tresóna does not sell any data to third parties.
This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website www.tresonamusic.com (our "Website") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

- That is about you but individually does not identify you, or is about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website, and usage details to gauge the effectiveness of this Website, such as your Internet service provider, IP address, domain name, type of browser, and operating system, as well as which pages you view on this Website, the web page from which you entered this Website, how much time you spend on each page, and other information related to the operation and interaction of this Website. This information does not reveal your identity (see Cookies and Google Analytics); and/or
- That is about you individually to customize advertisements in order to better understand and serve our advertising customers, but we do not share that information outside of Tresóna. This information may be compiled on an aggregated basis and shared with our customers or business partners, but the user will be anonymous. - Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Website, subscribing to our service, submitting music copyright licensing requests, uploading licensed sheet music to your account, or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by us, and when you report a problem with our Website.
- Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.
- Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.
- Details of transactions you carry out through our Website and the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Website.
- Your search queries on the Website.
You may also provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, "posted") on public areas of the Website or transmitted to other users of the Website or third parties (collectively, "User Contributions"). Personally-identifiable User Contributions – such as your name, your email address, your occupation, your employer, and any sheet music you upload to your account – may be transmitted to other users of the Website and our business partners (specifically, copyright owners, their agents or assigns) for the purposes of identifying the parties requesting a music copyright license from us and facilitating the music copyright licensing process. Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although we limit access to certain pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Website with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.
Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies
As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:
- Details of your visits to our Website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website and information related to the operation and interaction of this Website.

Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators, and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

Tresóna has entered the Google Ads Processing Terms for Google Analytics on July 29, 2025. Further, Tresóna has opted out of the sharing of Google Analytics data to Google for the purposes of improving Google's Products and Services. Tresóna does share data with Google for the purposes of modeling contributions and business insights, technical support, and recommendations for our business. - To send promotional materials or other communications, including without limitation payment reminders, licensing submission reminders, copyright compliance reminders, and other mandatory or involuntary content.
- To communicate with you about, and administer participation in, special events, programs, offers, surveys and market research;
- To respond to licensing inquiries you, or a third party hired by you, submit to us;
- To perform data analyses (including anonymization and aggregation of personal data);
- To operate, evaluate and improve the company's business (including developing new products and services; enhancing and improving the company's products and services; managing the company's communications; analyzing the company's products, services and communications; and performing accounting, auditing and other internal functions).

ActiveCampaign permits us to import information by which you may be personally identified (and which you have provided to us on our Website), such as your name and email address ("Contact Data"), into our ActiveCampaign account in order to send you these Marketing Emails. Tresóna utilizes Groove for customer service management (including receiving and responding to user and licensee inquiries), help chat boxes that may appear on our Website, and our help pages, including without limitation frequently asked questions. Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Tresóna's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of a bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Tresóna about our Website users is among the assets transferred.
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, in providing us your name, email address, occupation, and employer when registering with our Website, we will use that information if and when you apply for a music or sound recording copyright license, as that information is necessary in order to issue you such licenses. Information by which you may be individually identified may also be shared with third party copyright owners, their agents or assigns, who use our services to issue music or sound recording copyright licenses to you for the purposes of issuing such licenses. Your name, email address, occupation, and employer may also be viewed by other users of the Website when they apply for music or sound recording copyright licenses in order to identify you as a party relevant to the licensing process (e.g., to identify you as the arranger, director of an ensemble, or sound producer).
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
- With your consent.
We may also disclose your personal information:
- To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government regulatory request.
- To enforce or apply the terms of use, terms of sale, terms of license and work made for hire agreements, our or a third-party's rights in any potential or actual claims for copyright infringement, and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tresóna, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Data Transfers
We may transfer the Personal Information we collect about you to recipients in countries other than the country in which the information originally was collected, including the U.S. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. When we transfer your personal information to recipients in other countries (such as the U.S.), we will protect that information as described in this Policy.
If you are located in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom ("UK"), or Switzerland, we comply with applicable legal requirements by protecting your personal information when it is transferred to countries outside of the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland that have not been recognized by either the European Commission or the United Kingdom as providing an adequate level of data protection. The steps we take include concluding data transfer agreements incorporating the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the United Kingdom's International Data Transfer Agreement with the relevant data recipient or ensuring that the data recipient has implemented Binding Corporate Rules. Further, Tresóna and its U.S. subsidiaries complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF). Tresóna and its U.S. subsidiaries has certified (or will certify, as the case might be) to the U.S. Department of Commerce via the Data Privacy Framework Program that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. Tresóna and its U.S. subsidiaries has certified (or will certify, as the case might be) to the U.S. Department of Commerce via the Data Privacy Framework Program that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, Tresóna commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. DPF to JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your DPF Principles-related complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your DPF Principles-related complaint to your satisfaction, please visit https://www.jamsadr.com/DPF-Dispute-Resolution for more information or to file a complaint. The services of JAMS are provided at no cost to you. Under certain conditions, as more fully described on the U.S Department of Commerce's website, you may invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolutions procedures have been exhausted.
Tresóna is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives under the Frameworks (EU-US DPF and the UK Extension, Swiss-EU DPF) and subsequently transfers to third parties acting as an agent on its behalf. Tresóna complies with the Frameworks' applicable principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, the UK, and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
Personal information that is shared with third party processors in Canada is done so under the adequacy decision granted by the European Commission in 2001 declaring that Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (the "PIPEDA") provided an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred from the EU to organizations in Canada.
If you are located outside the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you acknowledge that we may transfer the information to countries in which the laws may not offer the same level of data protection as the laws of your own country.
Data Retention
Tresóna will retain your personal information only for a period reasonably necessary to fulfil the legitimate purposes for which it was collected, in alignment with our business needs, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law, regulation or contractual obligation. When determining how long to retain personal information, we take into account the necessity of the personal information for the provision of our purposes, applicable laws and regulations, and compliance with our legal, regulatory or contractual obligations. We may retain data to establish, exercise or defend against legal claims. When retention of the personal information is no longer necessary for a legitimate purpose, the information will be deleted or anonymized.
Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided to the Company as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.
- Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers' target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by not clicking "I wish to receive communications from third party advertisers." For this opt-out to function, you must have your browser set to accept all browser cookies.
We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") on the NAI's website.
Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to this designated address: info@tresonamultimedia.com. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute's opt-out requirements.
Application of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework

Tresóna and its U.S. subsidiaries has certified (or will certify, as the case might be) to the U.S. Department of Commerce via the Data Privacy Framework Program that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. Tresóna and its U.S. subsidiaries has certified (or will certify, as the case might be) to the U.S. Department of Commerce via the Data Privacy Framework Program that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. For purposes of this Section:
- "EU" means the European Union and Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
- "UK" means the United Kingdom.
- "CH" means Switzerland.
- "EU, CH or UK Individual" means any natural person who is located in the EU, CH or the UK.
- "EU, CH or UK personal data" means any information, including EU, CH or UK Sensitive Data that is (i) about an identified or identifiable individual, (ii) received by Tresóna in the U.S. from the EU, UK, or Switzerland and (iii) recorded in any form.
- "EU, CH or UK Sensitive Data" means EU, CH or UK personal data specifying medical or health conditions, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, sex life, the commission or alleged commission of any offense, any proceedings for any offense committed or alleged to have been committed by the individual or the disposal of such proceedings, the sentence of any court in such proceedings, or information on social security measures or administrative or criminal proceedings and sanctions.
- "EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles" means the Principles and Supplemental Principles of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF.
- "Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles" means the Principles and Supplemental Principles of the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF.
- "Controller" means a person or organization which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data.
- "Processor" means any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body that processes EU or UK personal data on behalf of a Controller.
- "Customer" means any entity that purchases or otherwise obtains products or services from Tresóna.
Tresóna provides information in this Section and Privacy Policy about its EU, CH or UK Individual personal data practices, including the types of EU, CH or UK personal data Tresóna collects, the types of third parties to which Tresóna discloses the EU, CH or UK personal data and the purposes for doing so, the rights and choices EU, CH or UK Individuals have for limiting the use and disclosure of their EU, CH or UK personal data, and how to contact Tresóna about its practices concerning EU, CH or UK personal data.
Choice
Tresóna generally offers EU, CH or UK Individuals the opportunity to choose whether their EU, CH or UK personal data may be (i) disclosed to third-party Controllers or (ii) used for a purpose that is materially different from the purposes for which the information was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the relevant EU, CH or UK Individual.
Tresóna may disclose EU, CH or UK Individual personal data without offering an opportunity to opt out, and may be required to disclose the EU, CH or UK personal data: (i) to third-party Processors the company has retained to perform services on its behalf and pursuant to its instructions, (ii) if it is required to do so by law or legal process, or (iii) in response to lawful requests from public authorities, including to meet national security, public interest or law enforcement requirements. Tresóna also reserves the right to transfer EU, CH or UK personal data in the event of an audit or if the company sells or transfers all or a portion of its business or assets (including in the event of a merger, acquisition, joint venture, reorganization, dissolution, or liquidation).
Accountability for Onward Transfer of Personal Data
This Section and Privacy Policy describes Tresóna's sharing of EU, CH or UK Individual personal data.
Except as permitted or required by applicable law, Tresóna provides EU, CH or UK Individual with an opportunity to opt out of sharing their EU, CH or UK personal data with third-party Controllers. Tresóna requires third-party Controllers (e.g., Google Analytics and ActiveCampaign) to whom it discloses EU, CH or UK Individual personal data to contractually agree to (i) only process the EU, CH or UK personal data for limited and specified purposes consistent with the consent provided by the relevant EU, CH or UK Individual, (ii) provide the same level of protection for EU, CH or UK personal data as is required by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and (iii) notify Tresóna and cease processing EU, CH or UK personal data (or take other reasonable and appropriate remedial steps) if the third-party Controller determines that it cannot meet its obligation to provide the same level of protection for EU, CH or UK personal data as is required by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles.
With respect to transfers of EU, CH or UK Individual personal data to third-party Processors, Tresóna (i) enters into a contract with each relevant Processor, (ii) transfers EU, CH or UK personal data to each such Processor only for limited and specified purposes, (iii) ascertains that the Processor is obligated to provide the EU, CH or UK personal data with at least the same level of privacy protection as is required by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles or Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, (iv) takes reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure that the Processor effectively processes the EU, CH or UK personal data in a manner consistent with Tresóna's obligations under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, (v) requires the Processor to notify Tresóna if the Processor determines that it can no longer meet its obligation to provide the same level of protection as is required by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles or Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, (vi) upon notice, including under (v) above, takes reasonable and appropriate steps to stop and remediate unauthorized processing of the EU, CH or UK personal data by the Processor, and (vii) provides a summary or representative copy of the relevant privacy provisions of the Processor contract to the Department of Commerce, upon request. Tresóna remains liable under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles and Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles if the company's third-party Processor onward transfer recipients process relevant EU, CH or UK personal data in a manner inconsistent with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles or Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, unless Tresóna proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
Further, Tresóna and its U.S. subsidiaries comply with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Tresóna and its U.S. subsidiaries have certified (or will certify, as the case might be) to the U.S. Department of Commerce via the Data Privacy Framework Program that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF.
